Tuesday - Music & Movement Grades 2-4

Calling all movers and shakers! Join Ms. Gutierrez for this energetic and expressive class that gives young dancers the chance to explore the joy of movement through a variety of dance styles while learning to listen deeply to music and use it as inspiration for their own choreography. Each session begins with a fun and dynamic warm-up to get our bodies ready to move, followed by center work and floor exercises to build strength, balance, and rhythm. Students will then travel across the floor, learning new skills and techniques in a playful, supportive environment. The real magic happens when dancers become choreographers! Students will have time to create their own dances, express themselves individually, and collaborate with classmates on exciting group routines. Whether your child is a budding ballerina, a hip-hop enthusiast, or just loves to move, this program encourages creativity, confidence, and connection through the art of dance.
