Mondays

Chess Adventures | 3:30-4:45 pm | K-Grade 4 | $440

Enjoy the ultimate class for kindergarten-grade 4 students as we explore the exciting world of chess. Dive into interactive lessons, learn from legendary battles, and master the strategies of chess greats like Bobby Fischer and Magnus Carlsen. With practice tournaments and engaging play, every session is an adventure designed to enhance your child’s skills. Is your child ready to become a master strategist and have fun? Join us for an adventurous chess journey from U.S. Chess Academy! Students will be assessed during the first day of the program and grouped according to levels.

 

 

 

Mondays

Mohr’s Explorers | 3:30-5:15 pm | K-Grade 4 | $480

The screen time stops here!  Our weekly Central Park EDventures include shelter building, bird tracking & fun-filled woodlands quests – plus an original variety of awesome games & activities!  This exhilarating OUTDOOR program builds confidence, while encouraging teamwork, creativity and open-ended education. The possibilities?  Endless!  The experiences?  Memorable!! The FUNGuaranteed!!!

We will be outdoors – please be prepared for all types of weather and visit  www.mohrs-explorers.com for further information.

**This program runs outdoors, rain or shine. If this class needs to be canceled due to extreme weather, indoor activities will be run by Mohr’s Explorers instructors.

 

 

 

Tuesdays

Dodgeball Mania | 3:30-4:45 pm | Grades 1-2 | $495

Duck and go! Mr. Presti and Mr. Panahi will offer this very popular game as an after-school activity. Whether your child likes to charge the line with an amazing throwing arm, or prefers to hide and wait with the sneakiness of a chess master, a classic game of dodgeball offers fun and excitement to every style of player.

 

 

 

Tuesdays

Music Wiz: Rock Band/Orchestra/Vocal | 3:30-4:45 pm | Grades 1-4 | $495

Welcome to our very popular and fun musical enrichment after-school program, led by Ms. Zambetti! As we celebrate its twelfth birthday, we invite our youngest students to experience its many holistic benefits, further building their social-emotional skills and hand-eye coordination as part of fine and gross motor skills development. A great creative and physical energy outlet, this fun music activity is filled with creative movement games and exploration of a wide variety of world instruments in a less formal and vibrant social setting. Please note that our beloved Spring Spotlight show is back this year at our new 94th Street Campus! This is a wonderful tradition where your children get to share their many musical talents with you. Stay tuned (no pun intended) for the save-the-date details.

Arcade Coders | 3:30-4:45 pm | Grades 3-4 | $495

Work with Mr. Bingham in the Spark Lab to become a game designer! Brainstorm ideas, create pixel art, and learn how to code amazing arcade games. We will also learn how to use digital fabrication tools like the laser cutter and 3D printer to create custom game controllers.

Pokémon Club | 3:30-4:45 pm | Grades 2-4 | $495

Curated Care is proud to present Pokémon Club! Practicing basic math, communication, team building, and literacy skills, kiddos will learn to play the classic card game, Pokémon! Students of all experience levels from beginner to advanced will learn to play together.

 

 


Wednesdays

Kicks Run Club | 3:30-4:45 pm | Grades 1-2 | $495

Kicks Run Club is NYC's leading running experience for children ages 4-18. The primary goal of Kicks is to help young athletes become better runners and happier, healthier kids! Each session will include a warm-up, brief lesson, running game, age-appropriate distance run in varied locations, and lots and lots of fun! Each season, runners will train in a fun and supportive environment and participate in exciting community races. Running is scientifically proven to make children physically, mentally, and emotionally stronger. Through team running, children begin to set and achieve goals while learning the importance of sportsmanship. Studies have shown that children who run outdoors experience reduced levels of stress and anxiety, and gain focus and concentration in their everyday lives. In a time where screens take center stage, it is more critical than ever to get our children outside, breathing fresh air, and running! Most importantly: it’s super fun!

**This program runs outdoors and takes place weather permitting. If this class needs to be canceled, Clubhouse will be offered at no additional cost until 4:45 pm.

Little Lions Jiu-Jitsu | 3:30-4:45 pm | Grades 2-4 | $495

Designed especially for kids by Dwight School P.E. Teacher Doug Sklar, the Little Lions Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club teaches practical elements of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with age-appropriate instruction, and a focus on valuable life skills, self-confidence, and fun!

Super Soccer Stars | 3:30-4:45 pm | Grades 2-4 | $495

This soccer program will focus on teaching your child to be comfortable with the ball by developing soccer skills such as dribbling and shooting, and an introduction to passing. This program from Super Soccer Stars includes partner activities to promote sharing, listening, respect, and cooperation. Physical activities include dynamic exercises like moving with pace, changing directions, and lateral agility.

Thursdays

Ignite Your Drama | 3:30-4:45 pm | Grades 2-4 | $495

Join our own Timothy House Drama Teacher, Ms. Kangas, on a fun adventure where students will explore and cultivate their dramatic spark by learning the craft of acting while fostering self-expression, creativity, and collaboration. Using scripts and songs, students will learn storytelling techniques and build characters as they expand their imaginations. While playing drama games, students will develop their social skills by role playing with their peers. Through rehearsals and a final performance, students will build confidence, their collaborative skills, self-management skills, and learn to communicate effectively, both on- and off-stage.

 

 

Fridays

Tennis | 3:30-4:45 pm | Grades K-2 | $440

After-School Jr. Tennis Academy will create a high energy on-court experience, coupled with an innovative curriculum to challenge players of all ages and levels. Tennis Innovators pros will engage students with challenging drills and games that develop their strokes, coordination, and point play opportunities. Join us for an elevated on-court experience on the rooftop.

Fridays

Cheerleading | 3:30-4:45 pm | Grades 2-4 |  $440

Show your spirit and build your skills in this fun and high-energy cheerleading class! Students will learn the fundamentals of cheer, including jumps, tumbling, chants, and dance routines, while practicing teamwork and stage presence. With guidance from enthusiastic instructors, students will gain confidence, coordination, and leadership skills as they create and perform their own cheer routines. The session concludes with an end-of-class showcase, where students get the chance to shine and share their new moves with friends and family. This class is the perfect mix of athleticism, creativity, and school spirit!
